The Importance of Choosing Your College Degree Wisely and Pursuing Your Dreams.
I want to talk about the importance of choosing your college degree wisely and pursuing your dreams. I think it’s really important because, it shapes who you are and helps you figure out what you want to do with your life.
To put this in the simplest terms, a degree is an investment in yourself. It’s an investment in what you can do for yourself, others, and for the world. When I graduated from college last year, I was really glad that I had spent four years learning skills that will help me make a difference now- skills like understanding people’s feelings and needs, analyzing data to find solutions to problems, thinking creatively about new ideas or ways of doing things. And I feel really good knowing that this is something that I’ll be able to do.
